The blues quiz answer?

Last week I mentioned this newspaper quiz I had found that had the following question:

Which did not happen to Pinetop Perkins?

A. He was driving a car that was hit by a train.

B. Died when a jealous woman poisoned his whiskey with lye.

C. He switched to piano after he was stabbed in the arm by a chorus girl and was unable to play the guitar afterward.

D. He won a Grammy at the age of 97.

The answer is B.

Willie Pinetop Perkins died at the age of 97 of natural causes. But he was hit by a train, he was stabbed in Helena, Arkansas in 1942, and he won a Grammy one month prior to his passing in 2011.
