Do aliens like rock and roll?

Well, if you believe the astrophysicist Carl Sagan, the answer is yes.

Back in 1986, Sagan honored Chuck Berry with a letter celebrating his 60th birthday. It’s unlikely that Carl Sagan ever thought it would become public, let alone a popular item in the Library of Congress.

But that letter, along with interviews and comments Sagan had said on record, gives us a small insight into Sagan’s ideas of space exploration, extraterrestrials and music.
