Think you know your favorite holiday songs?  Behind every familiar tune — from Elvis crooning “Blue Christmas” to Brenda Lee’s teenage triumph on “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” — lies a story that’s often as surprising (and entertaining) as the music itself. In this fun and festive presentation, we’ll unwrap the juicy details behind the world’s best-loved holiday songs: the accidents that became classics, the studio moments no one planned, and the artists who never imagined their little holiday single would play on repeat for decades.

You’ll hear how Elton John recorded “Step Into Christmas” in one frantic night, how Darlene Love turned a 1963 afterthought into a Christmas tradition and masterpiece, and why Adam Sandler’s “Hanukkah Song” made Jewish kids everywhere cheer, “Finally — we get one too!” We’ll explore Chuck Berry’s controversial 1958 song “Run Rudolph Run” and the wild fact that “O Holy Night” was once banned in France and later became the first song ever broadcast over radio.  Plus more fun songs and musical anecdotes to put you in the Holiday spirit!

Expect laughs, goosebumps, and plenty of “I never knew that!” moments as we celebrate the magic, mischief, and memories behind the season’s most cherished music.
