As the 1960s came to an end, a new musical connection was being developed that would change the musical world. Young rock musicians were also followers of jazz, soul and R&B. When a marriage of the these styles came together, a new and exciting genre called Jazz Rock was spawned. Thousands of hip Americans became instant fans of the music. The music of Blood Sweat & Tears as well as the highly successful band Chicago will be featured in this exciting exploration of the Jazz Rock style. This presentation will run 1 hour 15 min including Q&A from the attendees. Class will be streamed and recorded for replay on-demand.
